Healthy Homes
Healthy Homes Programs empower neighborhood residents through community organizing for healthier communities, civic engagement, housing quality improvements, and affordable housing development. Our goals and purposes include:
- Train and work alongside residents on resident identified priority organizing efforts to improve the quality of Fresno housing
- Use participatory action research and data collected on conditions in resident’s homes to help drive housing policy improvements in Fresno
- Explore and guide FIRM roles in affordable housing development
- Be informed of and offer input on advocacy about affordable housing and housing quality issues through FIRM and housing partners such as the Relational Culture Institute, Fresno Housing Alliance, and others
