Since 1994, Fresno Interdenominational Refugee Ministries (FIRM) has been meeting needs of refugee communities in Fresno. We serve mostly the Hmong, Laotian, Slavic and African people groups, which represent over 60,000 people in Fresno County. Our mission is “Sharing Christ’s love to build communities of hope with New Americans.”
We do this in many different ways, through both our holistic ministry and Gospelcentric ministry departments. We provide wrap around services for children all the way up to the elderly and are always pursuing new ways to meet the diverse needs of the people groups we serve. Our services span from an after-school program, to advocacy work, to mental health programs, to community gardens and much, much more!
This site will help you learn more about the work we do with over 6,500 people from the refugee community each year!
