Soloman Beah Doe is a Liberian refugee who was admitted to the United States in 2001. He is currently residing with his family in Lemoore, and they are still receiving assistance from the government. In May of 2011, Soloman came to FIRM to seek assistance with a naturalization application. FIRM Staff helped prepare his naturalization application as well as a fee waiver request form due to limited income.
He returned to FIRM recently to inform us that USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Service) has waived fee for him. He has already had his fingerprints taken so now he awaits his next appointment, a naturalization interview with USCIS. Soloman is very happy and thankful for the assistance of government for the fee.
Becoming a citizen in this country is a dream to many non-US born citizens, although there are many things for lawful permanent residents to consider before naturalizing. In the past, FIRM has worked hard to file naturalization applications for many lawful permanent residents who wanted to naturalize. As a result, today they have become naturalized US citizens. For further information or assistance in preparing naturalization applications, please feel free to contact Sam Chang at FIRM at (559) 487-1500, x-101.
