FIRM Citizenship/Civics Program
FIRM provides free Citizenship/Civics classes for the Hmong and Laotian community. When cohorts are in session, classes take place Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM-11:00 AM (Laotian) and 11:00 AM-12:00 PM (Hmong). FIRM staff and volunteers will provide support in preparing for the Naturalization test, assist with the Application for Naturalization (as well as applying for applicable fee waivers) and even teach students about the history of the United States of America. If you would like to become a citizen of the United States, come see us today! For more information, please contact Lucky Siphongsay (Laotian) or Sam Chang (Hmong) to enroll in the current cohort.
Information about citizenship and documentation can be found on the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Website. On this site, you can find information about who can apply for citizenship or immigration, needed forms, fee schedules, contacts for more information and much more.
